About Vicia onobrychioides L.

Vicia onobrychioides, commonly called Saffoin vetch, is a flowering plant species that belongs to the legume family Fabaceae. This species is native to southern Europe and northwestern Africa, and it has been introduced to the Czech Republic, Slovakia, the Baltic States, and Kaliningrad Oblast. Two accepted subspecies are recognized for this species: Vicia onobrychioides subsp. alborosea Dobignard and Vicia onobrychioides subsp. onobrychioides.
