Size
This is a small shrub frog, with adult males measuring 19–22 mm (0.75–0.87 in) in snout-vent length.
Diagnostic Physical Traits
It can be identified by the following combined set of physical traits: a sub-elliptical snout; a golden-brown iris; a slight projection of the humerus bone on the ventral region near the shoulders; a light grey back with spinular projections; and prominent yellow patches marked with brown in the groin area.
Habitat and Elevation Range
For ecology and natural history, Raorchestes tuberohumerus is found on shrubs in forests, plantations, home gardens, and roadside vegetation, at elevations ranging from 500 to 1500 m.
Vocalization Posture
Individuals of this species face downward toward the ground while vocalizing from dead leaves on shrubs.
