Documented localities include the Wynaad, Idukki, and Thiruvananthapuram districts of Kerala, and Valparai in Tamil Nadu.

Canopy Perch Behavior

Individuals have been observed perched on branches 8 to 15 meters above the ground, in the upper levels of the forest canopy.
