Limnonectes finchi, commonly known as Finch's wart frog, is a species of frog in the family Dicroglossidae.

Distribution

It is currently recorded as endemic to Sabah, Malaysia, though it may also be present in neighboring Kalimantan.

Habitat

Its natural habitats are tropical moist lowland forests.

Threats

The main potential threat to this species is habitat loss, which occurs when forests are converted to oil palm plantations.

Parental Care

This species displays a degree of parental care: male frogs guard eggs, and carry hatched tadpoles to small rain pools on the forest floor where the remaining larval development takes place.
