The yellow-headed goby, with the scientific name Gobius xanthocephalus Heymer & Zander, 1992, is a species of goby.
Geographic Distribution
It is native to the eastern Atlantic Ocean, ranging from northern Spain to Madeira and the Canary Islands, and is also found in the Mediterranean Sea.
Habitat and Depth Range
It inhabits inshore waters at depths between 1 metre (3.3 ft) and 22 metres (72.2 ft), and typically lives under stones.
Size
This species can reach a total length of 10 centimetres (3.9 in).
