Eutropis rudis, first described by Boulenger in 1887, is a species of skink that is commonly called the rough mabuya or the brown mabuya. This species is located in Maritime Southeast Asia, specifically across Indonesia, including Borneo, Sumatra, the Mentawai Islands, Java, and Sulawesi; across Malaysia, including Sabah and Sarawak; as well as on the Philippine Islands, the Sulu Islands, and the Nicobar Islands of India.
