Endemism Status

This species is endemic to Brazil.

Geographic Range

It occurs in eastern Brazil, within the Brazilian states of Bahia and Minas Gerais.

Habitat and Elevation

Its preferred natural habitat is rocky shrubland, found at elevations higher than 900 m (3,000 ft).

Reproduction

Eurolophosaurus nanuzae reproduces by laying eggs, meaning it is oviparous.
