This slender species has five toes on each of its four feet, with 26 scale rows at midbody.
Distribution
It is located in the northern part of the Northern Territory in Australia, including the Tiwi Islands.
Habitat
Its preferred natural habitat is forest.
Reproduction
Sexually mature Ctenotus essingtonii individuals breed in the dry season, and the species is oviparous.
