Bradypterus baboecala, first formally described by Vieillot in 1817, is commonly known as the little rush warbler or African bush warbler. It is classified as an Old World warbler species that belongs to the family Locustellidae.

This species has been recorded in Angola, Botswana, Burundi, Cameroon, Chad, the Republic of the Congo, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Ethiopia, Kenya, Malawi, Mozambique, Namibia, Nigeria, Rwanda, South Africa, South Sudan, Eswatini, Tanzania, Togo, Uganda, Zambia, and Zimbabwe.

Natural Habitat

Its natural habitat is swamps.
