Nomenclature
Adolfus kibonotensis, described by Lönnberg in 1907, shares the common vernacular name Jackson's forest lizard with Adolfus jacksoni.
Native Range
It is a species of lizard native to Kenya and Tanzania.
Taxonomic History
Originally, it was classified as a subspecies of Adolfus jacksoni, then later reclassified as a synonym of that species, before being restored as a distinct full species in 2018.
