Geographic Range & Elevation

It occurs in humid lowlands of Costa Rica and Panama, and has been observed near rocky-bottomed streams at elevations between 10 and 865 meters above sea level.

Habitat Tolerance

This species has been recorded in secondary forest, leading scientists to infer that it can tolerate some level of habitat disturbance.
