Senna roemeriana, commonly called twoleaf senna, is a species of flowering plant belonging to the family Fabaceae. It is native to New Mexico and Texas in the United States, as well as northern Mexico. This perennial plant grows in limestone soils, and typically reaches 18 inches (46 cm) in height. It is toxic to livestock, especially goats and sheep, but these animals avoid eating it when proper range management practices are in place.
