Salvia tomentosa, commonly known as balsamic sage, is a species of flowering plant in the Lamiaceae family. It is native to the Balkan Peninsula, Crimea, Turkey, the region of Lebanon and Syria, and Transcaucasus, and has been introduced to Germany. It is a mound-forming perennial that grows 0.5 to 1 meter (2 to 3 feet) tall. The Royal Horticultural Society recognizes it as a good plant for attracting pollinators.
