Sairocarpus nuttallianus is an annual or biennial herb.

Stem Characteristics

It grows an erect, vinelike stem that sometimes clings to objects for support, but does not twine as tightly as many other snapdragons. Its stems, leaves, and floral calyx are all covered in glandular hairs.

Flower Appearance

The flowers are light purple with veining and white patches, and measure around one centimeter long. Each flower grows from a short pedicel.
