Geographic Distribution

This species is documented from the southern Western Ghats, in the area near Kodaikanal, Dindigul District, Tamil Nadu, India.

Elevation Range

Individuals have been observed at elevations ranging from 1900 to 2300 meters above sea level.

Habitat

Its known habitats include roadside vegetation and gardens.

Reproductive Development

Like all other members of the genus Raorchestes, this frog hatches from eggs directly as small fully formed froglets, with no free-swimming tadpole stage.
