Taxonomy

Lupinus kingii, commonly called King's lupine, is a species of the genus Lupinus in the legume family Fabaceae.

Distribution

This species occurs in the U.S. states of Arizona, Colorado, Nevada, New Mexico, and Utah. Within Utah, it is only found at Bryce Canyon National Park.

Morphology

Both its leaves and seed pods are covered in hairs, and the mature pods measure 10 millimetres (0.39 inches) long.
