Styan's grasshopper warbler (scientific name Locustella pleskei Taczanowski, 1890, also referenced as Helopsaltes pleskei), also known as Pleske's grasshopper warbler and Taczanowski's warbler, is a species of Old World warbler in the family Locustellidae.
Breeding and Wintering Range
It breeds from eastern Siberia to Korea, Kyushu and the Izu Islands, and winters in South China.
Natural Habitats
Its natural habitats are temperate shrubland, subtropical or tropical dry shrubland, and swamps.
Threats
It is threatened by habitat loss.
Common Name Etymology
Its common name recognizes Frederick William Styan, a naturalist and collector.
