Habitat Requirements
Its natural habitats are pine-oak or oak forests located above 2,000 m (6,600 ft) above sea level, but it is also able to survive in moderately altered habitats.
Breeding Location
This frog breeds in lakes and large pools.

It is potentially threatened by habitat loss and introduced predators, and it is also collected for human consumption.
