This species is distributed across the Malay Peninsula, which includes Malaysia, Singapore, and the southernmost part of Thailand, Borneo which includes Brunei, Indonesia, and Malaysia, and Natuna Besar.

Natural Habitat

Its natural habitats are lowland swamp forest areas that contain small rivers and streams.

Populations of Limnonectes paramacrodon are declining due to habitat loss, making the species increasingly rare.
