Females are larger than males, reaching 70 mm (2.8 in) in snout-vent length, while males reach 60 mm (2.4 in) in snout-vent length.
Adult Habitat
This species lives in the forest floor litter of both montane and lowland rainforests.

Its tadpoles inhabit quiet pools and ponds.
