Species Distribution

This species is distributed across Panama, northern and western Colombia (specifically in the Departments of Chocó, Cauca, and Antioquia), and northwestern Ecuador.

Habitat and Altitude Range

Its preferred natural habitats are lowland forest, premontane wet forest, and montane wet forest; it occurs most often in mature forests, at altitudes ranging from sea level up to 1,600 meters (5,200 feet).

Reproduction Method
