Habitat and Distribution

This species occurs in a range of marine habitats including seagrass beds, sandy ocean floors, and estuaries around the south and southwestern coasts of Australia.

Diet

It feeds primarily on small crustaceans that live in the water column or within sediments.

Reproduction

Males of this species brood eggs and give birth to live young.
