Gehyra australis Gray, 1845, commonly called the Australian house gecko, northern dtella or top-end dtella, is a species of gecko.
Distribution
It is native to northern and eastern Australia, and is also widespread across Indonesia, where it occurs alongside common house geckos and four-clawed geckos.
Natural Habitat
This species is primarily arboreal, and inhabits woodlands as well as coastal and riverine forests.
Anthropogenic Habitat
It can also be found living near human dwellings and gardens.
Reproduction
Gehyra australis is an oviparous species.
