Ecsenius pictus, a species of combtooth blenny in the family Blenniidae, has two different common names: it is called the white-lined comb-tooth in Indonesia, and the pictus blenny in Micronesia.

Distribution and Habitat

This blenny species lives on coral reefs in the central Indo-Pacific region, with particularly prominent populations found in Indonesia, the Philippines, and the Solomon Islands.

Size

It grows to a maximum total length of 5 centimetres.

Diet

Members of this species feed mainly on plant material, including benthic algae and weeds.
