Geographic Distribution

It has isolated high-elevation populations in two geographically separated areas: one includes western Veracruz and the adjacent parts of Hidalgo and Puebla states; the other includes central and southeastern Chiapas and adjacent Oaxaca.

Habitat and Threats

Its natural habitat is tropical montane forest, and it is currently threatened by habitat loss.
