Taxonomy
Craugastor longirostris is a species of frog belonging to the family Craugastoridae.
Distribution
Its range extends from Guayas Province in Ecuador northward to western Colombia and extreme eastern Panama, and it also has isolated populations located in Colombia's Magdalena Valley.
Habitat
Its natural habitats are lowland and submontane rainforests, and it can occasionally be found in dry forests.
Threats
It is potentially threatened by habitat loss.
