Distribution
This species is found in the western Pacific Ocean, specifically in the warm tropical waters up to 12 meters deep off the coast of Australia.
Size
It reaches a maximum total length of 10 centimeters.
Reproduction
Like many pipefish, this species is ovoviviparous: males carry the developing eggs in a brood pouch located under their tail.
