Chromis notata, formally described by Temminck & Schlegel in 1843, is commonly called the pearl-spot chromis, spottedfin puller, or jaridom. It is a damselfish that belongs to the family Pomacentridae.
Geographic Distribution
This species is found in the northwest Pacific, with confirmed locations including southern Korea, the coast of Jeju Island, southern Japan, the Ryukyu Islands, Taiwan, and China.
Depth Range and Size
It inhabits waters at depths between 2 and 15 meters, and individuals can reach a maximum length of 17 cm.
