Plumage Characteristics

Its head is silver-grey, and the rest of its plumage is iridescent black, with the exception of the white rump, lower back, thighs, vent, and tip of the outer tail-feathers.

Males and females are similar in appearance, except that the female has a smaller casque and reddish skin around the eyes.
