About Veronica pimeleoides Hook.fil.

Veronica pimeleoides Hook.fil., which has the synonym Hebe pimeleoides, is a flowering plant belonging to the family Plantaginaceae. This species is endemic to the dry mountain regions of Marlborough and Canterbury, located in the South Island of New Zealand. It is a low-growing evergreen shrub that grows to a height of 60 cm (24 in). It produces grey-green, spear-shaped leaves that measure 7–10 mm in length, and its flowers are pale lilac in color. The compact cultivated variety 'Quicksilver', which has blue-grey leaves and white flowers, has been awarded the Royal Horticultural Society's Award of Garden Merit. This cultivar is hardy down to temperatures of −5 °C (23 °F), and grows best in a sheltered position that receives either full sun or partial shade.
