About Veronica incana L.

Veronica incana, commonly known as silver speedwell, is a flowering plant species belonging to the family Plantaginaceae. It is native to parts of Eastern Europe, Russia, all of Siberia, Mongolia, and northern China, and has been introduced to Czechoslovakia. Many plant authorities classify it as a subspecies of the spiked speedwell Veronica spicata, under the name Veronica spicata subsp. incana. It acts as a parent to two hybrids: Veronica × czemalensis, which it forms when crossed with V. porphyriana, and Veronica × grisea, which forms when crossed with V. longifolia.
