About Uroplatus henkeli Böhme & Ibisch, 1990
Morph Variation
Uroplatus henkeli has two distinct morphs: the Nosy Bé form and the mainland Madagascar form. These two morphs can generally be told apart by their colouration patterns, though this distinguishing feature is not always reliable.

This species is one of the largest in its genus, reaching a total length of 280 mm (11 in) when including the tail.
Distribution
Geographically, Uroplatus henkeli occurs in primary forest on the island of Nosy Bé, which lies near Madagascar, and also on mainland Madagascar in the Ankaranafantsika region.
