About Tillandsia geminiflora Brongn.
Tillandsia geminiflora Brongn. is a plant species belonging to the genus Tillandsia. It is native to Brazil, Suriname, Paraguay, Uruguay, and the Misiones Province of Argentina. Two varieties of this species are currently recognized. The autonymic variety, Tillandsia geminiflora var. geminiflora, occurs across most of the species' full range. The other recognized variety, Tillandsia geminiflora var. incana (Wawra) Mez, is found in Uruguay and southeastern Brazil.
