Thermopsis californica, commonly called California goldenbanner, is a species of flowering plant that belongs to the legume family. This plant is endemic to California, occurring across the state from San Diego County and other areas of Southern California north to Modoc County in northeastern California. This species was formerly classified as part of the species Thermopsis macrophylla.
