About Thelypodium integrifolium (Nutt.) Endl.
Thelypodium integrifolium (Nutt.) Endl. is a biennial herb. It produces a hairless, waxy stem with a thick, sturdy base; the stem is either unbranched, or branches toward the top, and can sometimes grow quite tall, reaching a maximum height close to three meters. Its thick, waxy leaves are not compound or lobed, and have smooth edges. The largest basal leaves can grow to over 30 centimetres (12 inches) in length. Leaves located higher on the stem are shorter, with either smooth or toothed edges. The inflorescence is a dense, cylindrical, spikelike raceme made up of white or purplish flowers. Its fruit is a silique that can reach up to eight centimetres (3.1 inches) in length.
