About Thalictrum revolutum DC.

Thalictrum revolutum DC. is a perennial plant that reaches a height of 3 to 7 feet. Its central stem is colored green or reddish-purple, and it is usually glaucous, though it may be slightly pubescent. Its leaves are alternate and ternately compound, while the primary compound leaves are pinnately compound. The leaflets are rounded at the base, and they are either unlobed or have two to three lobes near their outer edges. The margins of each leaflet curve slightly downward. The underside of each leaflet is light green or white, covered in hairs that give it a waxy appearance. When crushed, the foliage gives off a skunk-like scent.
