Particularly in New South Wales, it is most often seen growing between 6 and 12 metres in height. In Victoria, it can grow to 22 metres high, with a trunk diameter of 57 cm.
Trunk Features
The trunk is straight and cylindrical, with no buttresses or fluting.
Bark Characteristics
The bark is fairly smooth and dark brown, and sometimes has vertical rows of bumps. Larger trees may have flaking bark plates and vertical cracks.
