Streptanthus tortuosus Kellogg is a biennial or short-lived perennial plant in the mustard family, Brassicaceae. It has three common names: shieldplant, shieldleaf, and mountain jewelflower. It is native to the mountains of northern and central California in the United States, and its distribution extends just into Oregon and Nevada. It grows in rocky and sandy areas within forest and woodland habitats.
