Spiranthes ochroleuca (Rydb.) Rydb., commonly known as the yellow nodding lady's tresses, is an orchid species. Its range extends from southeastern Canada to the eastern United States. This species is native to eastern Canada, specifically New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Ontario, and Prince Edward Island, all of the Northeastern United States, and the southeastern United States, including Kentucky, Maryland, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Virginia. It grows in a variety of habitats: open woodlands, thickets, meadows, barrens, ledges, outcrops, banks, and roadsides.
