About Salvia jordanii J.B.Walker

Salvia jordanii, commonly known as Algerian rosemary, is a species in the sage genus Salvia. It is native to Spain, Morocco, Algeria, and Libya. This species was formerly classified as part of Rosmarinus, a much smaller distinct genus, but was moved into the genus Salvia after genetic DNA evidence supported the reclassification.
