Salvia haenkei Benth., commonly known as pampa salvia, is a shrub species belonging to the genus Salvia. This species occurs naturally in the geographic range extending from southern Peru to Bolivia. In Bolivia, the plant is used in traditional medicine. It is employed as a digestive aid and antiemetic, to ease symptoms of colds and bronchitis, and is applied topically to promote wound healing.
