Salarias ceramensis, commonly known as the Seram blenny or the Ceram blenny, is a species of combtooth blenny.
Geographic Range
It is found in the western central Pacific Ocean.
Maximum Size
This species can grow to a total length of 15 centimetres, which is 5.9 inches.
Habitat Preferences
It is a shallow-water species that lives at depths between 1 and 30 metres, and inhabits sheltered bays and lagoons. It is most often found among mixed algae and coral rubble, in silty habitats.
Human Uses
This species is traded for use in aquariums, and is targeted by minor commercial fisheries.
