Rhododon, commonly called sandmint, is a genus of flowering plants in the mint family, Lamiaceae. This genus was first described in 1939. It includes two known species: Rhododon ciliatus, known as Texas sandmint, and Rhododon angulatus, known as angled sandmint. Both species are endemic to the state of Texas in the United States. The species profiled here is Rhododon ciliatus (Benth.) Epling.
