About Ranunculus orthorhynchus Hook.

Ranunculus orthorhynchus Hook. is a perennial herb. It produces stems that sometimes exceed half a meter in length, and stems can grow in either an erect or decumbent form. Plants range from hairy to completely hairless in texture. Leaf blades are each divided into several toothed leaflets, and grow on long petioles. Flowers have five to eight shiny yellow petals, each 1 to 2 centimeters long, with many stamens and pistils located at the flower center. The fruit is an achene, which develops in a spherical cluster.
