Pultenaea euchila DC., commonly known as orange pultenaea, is an erect, glabrous shrub. Its leaves are narrow egg-shaped, with the narrower end positioned toward the base, and measure 10โ20 mm long by 3โ5 mm wide. Stipules 1โ2 mm long are present at the base of each leaf, and the upper leaf surface is paler than the lower surface. Flowers are arranged near the ends of branchlets, are 10โ15 mm long, and grow on pedicels up to 10 mm long. Linear to egg-shaped bracteoles 1.5โ3 mm long are attached near the base of the sepal tube. The sepals themselves are 6โ8 mm long, the petals are orange, and the ovary is glabrous. The fruit produced by this species is a pod 8โ9 mm long. This species grows in near-coastal forests, occurring in the range from Lake Macquarie in New South Wales to southern Queensland.
