Rüppell's parrot, with the scientific name Poicephalus rueppellii (G.R.Gray, 1849), measures 22–25 cm (9 inches) in length and weighs 121–156 g.

General Body Coloration

Its body has an overall dark brown coloration, and its head is dark greyish.
