About Plantago lagopus L.
Plantago lagopus L., commonly known as hare's foot plantain, is an annual herb species belonging to the family Plantaginaceae. This species has a self-supporting growth form and produces simple, broad leaves. Its flowers are visited by four insect taxa: Heliotaurus ruficollis, Malachius, Metopoplax origani, and the brown argus. Individual plants of this species can reach a maximum height of 25 cm.
