Phryma leptostachya, commonly called lopseed, is a perennial herb that belongs to the genus Phryma. When it is separated from the related species Phryma oblongifolia and Phryma nana, this species is native to eastern North America. This plant grows between 0.3 and 1.0 meters in height. Its inflorescences produce many small, 4-millimeter, tube-shaped flowers that range in color from white to pink.
