Ophioblennius macclurei, commonly known as the redlip blenny, is a species of combtooth blenny.
Habitat and Distribution
It is found living among coral reefs in the western Atlantic Ocean.
Size
This species can grow to a total length of 12.2 centimetres, which is equal to 4.8 inches.
Etymology
Its specific name honors American comparative anatomist and embryologist Charles Freeman Williams McClure (1865–1955), in recognition of his research on the lymphatic systems of fishes.
