Common Name and Taxonomy

Chalaroderma ocellata, commonly called the two-eyed blenny, is a species of combtooth blenny.

Distribution

It is found in the southeast Atlantic Ocean, and is only known to occur along the coast of South Africa, from Saldanha Bay to Port Elizabeth.

Size

This species grows to a maximum length of 7 centimetres (2.8 inches) measured along its standard length (SL).
